Brgy. Longos, brgy. Zamora and Bayugo are the official entity in Meycauayan. The elders there claimed that barangays were not actually inundated. However, due to the government's housing project, the enormous fishing grounds between the two barangays and Bayugo were purchased, and the land began to be dumped to be used for housing. This new neighborhood is Northville, three and a half miles from Bayugo proper. This is one of the reasons given by many of the those barangays for why they are currently flooded. Their approach was to expand their respective barangays (Brgy. Zamora, Bayugo proper and Brgy. Longos) by stacking up land. Nonetheless, they are frequently inundated, particularly during typhoons.
In order to continue to know the true story of the occurrence of flooding in the said barangays, we conducted a survey to find out what the real reason and source of the submergence of their land were.
QUESTIONS:
By glancing the location of Barangay Zamora the marks of the flood are still visible. And while walking down the street the gap between two roads are noticeable as when you walk right on it the road, you will notice that there will be an ascent on the road. the upper side does not experience some flood that can reache the knee of a person, but the case is the residents who lives on the lower part. Bayugo is where the two barangay located and at it's entrance the Northville is visible and a small bridge where everyone can notice it's overflowing river. And at Barangay Longos this is where the fishing grounds and river located.
