INTRODUCING CLOVE: The newest agent in Valorant, to be released soon

Valorant fans are thrilled to see the newest agent in the game!


“The design team just does not MISS!” SamTalkzTV (@SamTalkzTV) replied to Valorant Updates’ (@ValorantUpdated) recent post on X about the new agent that will be playable in the next patch after the current one, which is patch 8.04.

As Valorant Updates introduced Clove, the newest agent to be released soon in the game, many fans of Valorant have given comments about the new agent, commending the pink design since the fans have been hoping to get any content such as weapon skins or agents that have the color palette of pink. With the large amount of hype, Valorant Updates also released more updates about the agent like their abilities and concept art as to how their design was created by the devs (game developers).

Clove is said to be a Controller, one of the agent roles in Valorant who mostly uses smokes to help the team in every game and to take control of an area by blocking the enemy’s vision. Currently, the game has five controllers since the release of Harbor back in October 2022. Surely, adding a new controller to the game after two years since the last one will get much hype from the players who enjoy playing the mentioned role.

Aside from the abilities, it was also mentioned by Valorant Updates that Clove is a non-binary agent. This post gained a variety of comments, some saying it is a piece of useless information that has nothing to do with the game but others appreciated that Valorant is open to gender diversity and representation with their agents, especially after revealing that two of their agents, Killjoy and Raze, are a lesbian couple.

Aside from the new agent, a new map is to be released soon for a certain game mode. With this bundle of updates about the game and with the new stuff added, fans will surely be looking forward to the next patch.
