Travel back in time in PH’s 1st Renaissance Faire

    This isn’t a scene from a tv-series or movies — it is the famed Renaissance Faire, for its first time, is now in Carantes Ancestral Forest, Baguio City with the theme “Vikings/Pirates v.s Nobles” for its Day 1, on Friday March 22.

RenFaire constituents have flocked the forest donning their buccaneer outfits and wielding their cutlasses and shields as seafarers while the other attendees showed off their nobility with their crowns and fine tunics.

    The faire’s first day also featured role-playing activities such as one-shot Dungeons and Dragons Campaigns, a table-top roleplaying game, as well as live-action role playing camp also known as L.A.R.P.


    Local music groups Adamanta, Backstreet Bards, Yaelokre, and Sinag, also performed as part of the faire’s morning activities.

    Renaissance Faire is a themed event that recreates the settings of the medieval times, including its activities, aspects of life and the culture from the Renaissance Era.
RenFaire PH was first announced to be conducted in Baguio City, March 2024 by the cosplayer, Chairein on her facebook post last May 16. 2023.
