Only those who are graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism are allowed to conduct a Community Journalism within a specific community. Unlike Community Journalism, Citizen Journalism does not need a specific degree to function. In Citizen Journalism, as the name suggest, can be done by any citizen of the country, and is related only to those without the degree of Journalism. To raise public awareness about HIV and AIDS, the Home of Bamboo HIV Primary Care Clinic located in Meycauayan City, Bulacan, organized an outreach program on May 1 2024 at the Brgy. Saluysoy covered court together with the “DYOSA NG SALUYSOY TRANSGENDER WOMEN PAGEANT 2024” which attracted guests and audiences eager to participate watching the pageant and learn about HIV and AIDS prevention and care. There were variants of issues faced by the community but one stood up; Flooding. Which was caused by poor river management. The next step is to take the concerns to the officials. We couldn't gain contact with or meet with the barangay captain, and the officer in charge of the barangay's DRRM, Mr. Maymar Abel Dela Cruz, was also busy with outside-the-hall work, but we managed to talk to them through Messenger.  He only provided insights from the DRRM office.
